Quiet «artists» bar.
Pleasant, quiet bar, far from the noisy shallowness of some Marais'bars. One of the first gay historic bars of Paris. Some boys can be very serious and not fun, but usually the atmophere is rather pleasant with good jazzy and house music, not too loud. The beginning of the night is quite calm and cosy. Most boys (and few girls) come after midnight. The bar then can be very crowded. Some try to take refuge on the mezzanine over the bar.
