Piano Bar
Every Tuesday, after 9pm, Le Gai Moulin, proposes a piano bar session with french songs as it was during the 80’s and 90’s in a former famous gay singing bar : "Le Piano Zinc" (zinc is a another name for the bar, from the days they were covered with it).
Vartoch sings and hosts this special evening where you can sing if you feel like it.
Around 11 pm, Christophe, the owner, sings his original and joking compositions about gay life. (in french, of course). Mandatory booking.

Parisians Under German Occupation
Andre Zucca was, during German Occupation, a french photographer of the nazi propaganda, especially in the Signal newpaper. He has then access to rare color films and took 1058 slides, the only coloured pictures of the time by a french.
It some of them that are shown in Bibliotheque Historique de la Ville de Paris. Away from the thunder of the war, the city seems in a quite and carefree ambiance. No allusion to resistance, no trace of executions. But in the yellow stars of Rue des Rosiers or the people searching in garbage bins in Montorgueil street don't hide completly these dramatic times.

Coccinelle For Ever
Coccinelle (1931 - 2006) was one of the first french transexual famous in the all world. She was a star in cabarets and music hall in the 50's and 60's.
She was a star in the District of Montmartre. Her last husband, Thierry Wilson proposes a photo exhibition in the typical Montmartre restaurant where she came a lot, l'Entracte.
A good way to test a good traditional french cuisine in a typical cosy restaurant, looking at the tenth of photographs with Coccinalle. The diner is around 40€ "a la carte". Restaurant is open Wednesdau to Saturday for lunch and diner, Sunday for lunch only.
